Who investigates a death here
West Virginia has a statewide medical examiner system. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Charleston investigates deaths in all 55 counties. Code 61-12-8).

Drug lab properties
Under the Clandestine Drug Laboratory Remediation Act (W. Va. Code 60A-11) and rule 64CSR92, only state-licensed remediation contractors and technicians may do this work. After police notice, the owner must keep a residential property vacant and have it remediated to 1.0 microgram per 100 square cm. The contractor files plans and reports, and the state certifies completion.
